I personally have not had this pop-up. I can venture a guess as to why though, it's because I have NoScript, an add-on for FireFox. It blocks third party scripts from executing.
I have mine set to block ALL website scripts and when I visit a site that I want to allow, I simply allow it and any other site I want.

It has saved my computers from a lot of problems that I have been having before I used it.

Yes, where it says "(image url)", you put the image's location there.

As for your next question, I believe you've already solved that yourself. Where it says "body", you just put ".inner". Is that how you wanted it or did you want to put that as the entire background color?

The background setup for minitokyo is different than other sites. It is divided into multiple sections, top, topCenter, topLeft, main, leftMenu, rightMenu and content.
For example....

For your background, I would suggest that you either use the #topCenter or the #content area.

Here is another way to put the image as a background, but it goes for the background of your content (your menus and page content as well as your guestbook).

Sheqel, I am potentially interested in being a beta tester. I am a web designer and coder, (not professional, yet, but experienced). I would like to test out the new layout as well and provide feedback. I assume that using the test layout as a beta tester will not affect my current layout, right? Or would I convert right away?

BTW: I'm out of town for awhile, but I will be back soon and will try to fix anything else if something comes up. This computer that I'm working on now has IE only and shows up fine. I did put the moz-opacity codes for the MT toolbar at the top and I wasn't sure if they worked. DarkSerge2000, do you see a fuzzy bar at the top of the page in front of the toolbar (minitokyo, browse, forum, art... etc)?

LOL Ah don't worry, I've been there before! I've practiced a lot with HTML and I have made my share of typos. Try writing a computer program and miss one character. It doesn't run and you can spend hours trying to figure that out. No problem though, you'll get there!

Hmm, if by a "fuzzy bar", you mean this: then yes, I do. Personally, I would make it darker (if you intended to have a fuzzy bar). The links are a bit hard to see. Try a shade of green or black and if necessary, make the links a bit lighter then. If that doesn't work, then try editing your background and make the part that is behind the links darker.

Trial and error, yeah, that'll do it. Oh, and about IE, I dislike it so much that I made my firewall block it from the Internet!

Ah, yes, the page loads much faster without the background music!
Why not have a music player to load the music when the page is done loading. Take mine on my page for example. It doesn't slow down the loading process.
As for the background, I still see it.

Well, I like the background, because of the dark look! There is one thing that's been bothering me about the page though, it tends to take a while to load and my browser freezes for about 30 seconds, maybe because of the background music. I don't know if I am the only one with this problem though.

One more thing, the banners, why not add 'target="_blank" ' after the links to the group page?
It opens the page in a new tab or new window, depending on which browser you are using.
Just put that after the link to the page, but outside of the quote.
